ooc| I'm playing as Ravenstar because, to all you leaders, you didn't reply to my PM xD Tangle, if you don't get here by tomorrow, I'm also going to play as Shadestar since all the clans need to be here no matter what activity. :< I only have permission to RP as the leaders in Gatherings. Don't worry, you inactive leaders. xD
bic| Ravenstar glanced back at his own clan. "Hurry up!" he shouted playfully back at them. "The moon's not going to be full the whole season, you know!"
Here. This was the place. The fallen log, a reminder of the fury of Starclan who had taken the life of a Windclan warrior many, many years ago. The tree was rotted, due to the spray from the river below, but still served as a sturdy bridge to lead the clans to the gathering island.
He placed a paw on the log. Then another. He would have liked to stay here, just listening to the rushing water, being lightly misted, on this full moon, but he had to go on.
The crickets chirped, making the island seem noisy, but eerily silent. The last cat leaped off the gnarled roots of the tree, onto land.
"Nobody's here yet?" a tom muttered. He couldn't tell who, but he was right. They were the first.
"Well, it looks like we'll have to wait for them, then," Ravenstar replied, perching himself on top of a branch as he waited for the other three clans to arrive.

Stealthclan was the next to arrive. The cats swiftly leaped across the log with Shadestar at the lead, his dark mask showing in the moonlight. "Good evening, Ravenstar," greeted Shadestar to the Brookclan leader. Darkfire nodded respectfully at the two leaders before blending in with the crowd of cats that had gathered below the tree.
ooc| Rofl, I'm RPing 3 cats at one time xD THIS IS WHAT YOU INACTIVE LEADERS GET -slap- xD Jk. Just be here on time next time, alright? >>

Ravenpaw padded across the tree, Smokepaw alittle farther ahead. He watched as his small brother stumbled over rotting branches. An idea popped into mind, and Ravenpaw smiled. He ran up to Smokepaw and headbutted him. Smokepaw squealled with fear as he fell off the tree and into the chilly newleaf waters.

Echostar jumped onto the rotting tree. The sound of water lapping the shore relaxed her for a moment. She slowly made her way across the tree, rotting bark sinking under her claws. At the moment she heard a yowl and splash, Echostar jumped into the water. Though water was her worst fear, the gray leader searched for whoever fell. She saw what looked like a kit, and dragged him out of the water. StealthClan? Echostar pondered, sniffing for his clan. "Shadestar!"

..>Shadestar<;; Shadestar appeared silently behind Echostar. "What are you doing with my apprentice?" he growled, snatching Smokepaw away and walking off.
When he was out of earshot, he scolded Smokepaw. "Why did you fall into the river? You knew better than to do that. Now Zephyrclan will think we're indebted to them somehow." He snorted, partly ashamed that he was not watching his apprentice as carefully as a cat from another clan, and returned to his tree branch.
..>Pebblepaw<;; The tom was watching as a Stealthclan apprentice plopped into the water. Another tom had pushed him in; he was sure of that. No, he wasn't going to rat on him, of course not. But that looked fun, falling into the river. Maybe he would try that some day.
ooc| Haha, now that Echostar's here, now you can do something Where did Guestie disappear to?

it doesn't hurt to say good-bye. it's been a long winter.? Head watching paws I scampered forward, not lifting my eyes for one moment. I was- UMPH! Ow! I yelped, slipping backwards, my paws scrambling for traction. I struggled to see what I had bumped into. I! Oh...! I finally stammered, regaining my footing. My breath was hot and quick. Ooh dear... I thought. It was my second gathering, and it wasn't turning out so fabulous. First I had almost slipped on the tree bridge and now bumped into the most strange of cats. Well... Actually he wasn't, I just liked to say that. But no matter. Terribly sorry, to be sure. I gasped, looking up. My eyes crinkled as I smiled. A tom, how... How... OH! I don't know the words to use. I stared at him with a large mixture of curiosity. Mockingpaw, Zephyrclan. And you? I purposefully expressed my most polite measures of manners as I tried to make it up to him. Ooh! Where was Dappleheart when I needed her!

just wait for the stone at your window » x RoArInG STAR "All cats going to the gathering, it is time to follow the leader!"
Roaringstar's great, low laugh rang through the camp as he shouted out the orders to his fellow Clan mates. He had always enjoyed calling them to his heels in that manner, reciting words that seemed to fit the situation in a simple perfection. Perhaps it was a bit strange that he adored it so much, but in the end, he did. Without even glancing back to make sure that his warriors, elders, and apprentices were doing as he had just instructed them too do, the golden brown tabby slipped down from the rock which he had been perched upon and began the journey to the gathering island.
It had been a full moon since he had done such a thing and the time before this had seemed so far away. He, in all truth and honesty, couldn't remember his last visit to the pine trees that clustered together to give the felines shelter from the elements. It wasn't going to be strange to crawl across that ages-old log, the thing was far from rotting despite how many generations had passed since its original fall. It was like it was touched by StarClan its self, and like those silver-wreathed cats that had given him the lives of his leadership it would never crack.
The massive tabby's paws pounded against the earth as the terrain passed him by. He was not going into his full stride, his slowed pace taking into consideration the rest of the felines who roamed the lines of his Clan. The elders would certainly not appreciate if he decided to sprint across the Zephyrclan border without even giving a single thought to those who would be struggling along to follow them. However, Roaringstar was considerate, and so he did not find it hard to keep his pace at one that was going to accommodate all of those that would be accompanying him in moral support to visit the leaders. That was what he viewed it as, a gathering for the leaders themselves. It was not like the heads of the Clans could not just recite the news of the other Clans back at home. The point of having a crowd was to show strength and loyalty, not anything more than that.
Roaringstar was soon across the log, his Clan left to scramble up the thing behind him. He had skimmed across it with that great smile on his face, the aged thing not even creaking beneath his size. The tom was quick to look around and greet those around him, the other Clans had already gathered to the place themselves. He wondered what this gathering would be like, would it be the same as the ones that he had attended at early times?
"Hello, to you and you and you," Roaringstar grinned as he said his greetings to the rest of the leaders. "Shall we begin soon?" The tom left the rest of the characters behind him as he slipped to go up the great oak. His great tail fluffed up and swished around behind him. [/blockquote]

//cherry, what the <fudge>? // .:~Echostar~:. Echostar nodded towards Roaringstar, but kept her eyes on the StealthClan leader. He doesn't even know...
.:~Smokepaw~:. Smokepaw shivered. He saw Shadestar's eyes were cold with anger. The small apprentice looked over to Ravenpaw. His brother look fierce, but wore a smirk on his face as if saying I dare you to tell, and see what'll happen. Smokepaw looked to the ground "I'm sorry..."

..>Pebblepaw<;; Pebblepaw felt a shove. He whipped around, looking at the white and ginger she-cat. "What was that for?" he muttered, his eyes flashing. As the stammering cat apologized, he mumbled, "Just don't do it again," and turned away.
..>Shadestar<;; Shadestar had been watching the apprentices of his clan when Roaringstar asked a question. "Wha?" he asked, momentarily confused, and cleared his mind as he replied "Yes, let's start the Gathering, we've wasted too much time already." He glanced around to make sure the other leaders were comfortable, and waited for someone to start the Gathering.

..>Ravenstar<;; Well, we may as well start this so we can get it over with quickly. Ravenstar had been waiting a long time. Ravenstar yowled out to the Clans, starting the Gathering. "Cats of all Clans, gather here below the Hightree to begin a Gathering!"
The murmurs quieted down, their attentions driven towards the four cats sitting on the tree. Ravenstar was slightly taken aback by this abrupt turn of gaze, and said in a quieter voice, "Brookclan is well. The prey is still thawing out from the freezing of our river, and we are yet to eat as plentiful as we did last newleaf, but we will manage." He purred and continued. "Two warrior apprentices have been named, Pebblepaw and Moonpaw, but we have not found a medicine cat apprentice yet." Ravenstar glanced at the other leaders, waiting for another cat to speak.
ooc| Bleh double post but someone has to start the Gathering xD I also fail because I have no idea how to start the Gathering -coughcough-

just wait for the stone at your window » x RoArInG STAR Roaringstar had been settled against the high tree by the time that the rest of the leaders had joined him on its branches. The Clans had settled beside each other now, no tension erupted between them. Yet, there was still that undertone of suspicion in the air. Things just could never be settled in the Clans, Roaringstar knew this and let a get sigh pass by his lips. Perhaps an obnoxious one could be the better description, but that was just the way that the tom rolled around his daily routine.
"Sounds like things are going well for BrookClan, I'm glad," Roaringstar said softly to the man that sat not far away. He admired the wit of the Clan that Ravenstar came from, the general sleekness that all of his warriors owned. But, Roaringstar's Clan mates had their own qualities that the others did not own. That lifted his spirits some.
"I'll go next, then." The massive tom stood a bit straighter as he looked down at the cats below him, ready to address all four of the Clans about the status that his was in. "DawnClan is doing great, as it usually is in newleaf. The time has given us more prey than the scarce leafbare, so I am glad. We, like BrookClan, have welcomed two new apprentices to our ranks; Blizzardpaw and Ashpaw." The tom grinned that eccentric grin and then settled back, slouching against the branches.
"That is all." [/blockquote]

..>Shadestar<;; Shadestar spoke up next. Actually, more like he rudely interrupted Roaringstar, not waiting for his last sentence before talking. "Stealthclan is well," he stated. "Smokepaw and...Ravenpaw have been named our newest apprentices." It seemed as though he wanted to put the glory on his apprentice. He continued, "The prey is running very well for so early in newleaf," and purred triumphantly at the thought that his clan was being more well fed than the previous two.
