Name:
Since the beginning of his time he was known as the beginning, Wren, even as a child it was more often that he was called this instead of the formal, Wrenkit. In fact, that was what stuck more than the rest of his name. He advanced on to become Wrenpaw, still then called by the informal portion of his name and eventually they stuck onto him Wrenflight. Now, this is what he is called when others meet him initially, but even the medicine cats from other Clan have begun to call him just Wren, it seems to stick a lot better than Wrenflight.
Clan:
It has been forever and ever that he was in StealthClan, it seems strange to think that he couldn't be in StealthClan, actually. He knows that one of his best friends, Spring, has switched from Clan to Clan without a qualm upraised by her traitorous behavior, but he knows that it would be too much for him to go from one place too the other. He has grown close too the territory of his homeland and so it is very, very unlikely that he will ever leave.
Rank:
He was given the chance to become the medicine cat apprentice of the current medicine cat and that i s the way that he has chosen to go. However, he is no longer the simple apprentice of the medicine cat. He has been given the full-fledged title since his mentor had just recently passed away. He will always remember her.
Age:
Wren has been walking about the Clan lands for seventeen moons now. He has a lot of his life left to live and he hopes to keep it for as long as is possible. He'd hate to lose himself now.
Gender:
It is obvious that Wren is a boy from his name, his physical appearance, and his personality. He is a bit rough around the edges.
Appearance:
Wrenflight got the genes from both him mother and father for an appearance that is similar to those of the Clan. He has the broad shoulder and thick upper body of the StealthClanners and could easily push himself through a wall of defending warriors if that happened to be the business that he was in, however it is not. He, despite his build, did not take the path of a warrior as the one for his profession. He was given the chance to become a medicine cat and that was the one that he took, leaving the path of honor and glory for the one of the man behind the scenes. Therefore, his muscular structure was a so-called waste of effort, but he still maintains a fit out look.
The face on Wren is anything but welcoming, rather he appears rather serious most of the time. When he smiles, however, there is some kind of glow that comes off of his face and in his eyes. It is rare that he will grin so brilliantly, but it is certainly a treat to see him do it. On top of his head are two decently sized ears, not annoying large or anything.
The color of the tom's coat is quite simple: black. There is some glossiness to it, parts that make it glow more of a silver in the moonlight. He has yet to begin to gray, and that will not be something that will happen until he is much older.
The length of his fur is short, but dense. It feels slightly rough to the touch, despite the glossy appearance that it gives off. It grows even thicker during the season of cold winds, but there are some things that he just can't change about it. His coat sheds very lightly going into newleaf, but even then he finds it suffocatingly hot and warm.
Eyes, oh the brilliant gaze that Wren stares out with. It is a very light green-gray, but layered simply with darker colors such as onyx and emerald. The man's irises stay the same color throughout the entire year, every season the same strangely flecked looks coming from him. It is something pretty, though, when put together with his plain black coat. They are shaped so that they are always slightly narrowed, something that he was teased about as a child.
Personality:
Wren is kind of a difficult character to explain. He has an outer appearance of being very cold, almost scathingly. He often lacks the ability to speak, just staring and watching the events in front of him. It is a choice thing, not a thing of shock or despair. Some say that he projects hsi thoughts with his eyes, but that is something that is just a rumor and only some people say that they can feel it.
Inside, there is warmth to Wren. He has a very caring outlook at times, especially around those that grow close to him. In a general aspect, this is not a sign that is seen often around him. It is the thing with the smile, a rare treasure that he will allow others the pleasure of observing. He can allow those kind of expressions to come out if he is around someone that he really, really adores. Most likely a feline that he has known since his childhood or another who has gotten close to him since then.
The way that Wren gets mad is not obvious, he often boils about something on the inside or just doesn't care at all. It is rare, very, very rare that he will act out on his emotions in such a way. Seeing that he has a hard time to reveal any of his personal feelings, it would be kind of ridiculous if he just got mad a lot of the time. When he cannot control his anger he does yell, he escapes soon after, but he does yell.
Then there is the feeling that is inside of Wren a lot of the time, considering the closeness in which this person is beside him. He has deep feeling of unrequited love with his good friend, Poppyburst. They still see each other now, her a new warrior and he the newly named medicine cat, and still he harbors those feelings of love. He had known her since they were children, it is hard to think that he could just leave her as a simple friend. Yes, that was the status that she had kept with him while they were children, but early on into both of their apprenticeships he began to feel something much deeper for her. It was strange, having these feelings that he could not express and still cannot express. But he is a medicine cat, and so he reprimands himself for such feelings.
