I was lounging around, enjoying my short time alone. For, like always, the hunting patrol would come back soon and I would have to do what what I proudly call "sneaking away". A feeling of doubt twinged at my stomach. How could I call it sneaking away when I plainly told them I was leaving? Oh well. Doesn't matter anyway, as long as I can leave at all. Suddenly I had a great itch, right there in the spot that's impossible to reach, that I can never reach by myself without a tree. Of course, I could always ask someone for help...But that just isn't my way. Grumbling, I got up and looked for something to scratch my back on, but found nothing. Miserably, I paced around, trying to figure out what I should do. I sighed. I had never had an itch this bad before! It kept at it and at it, and just wouldn't go away. I was on the point of cursing, it hurt so bad. I shifted uncomfortably. Would it ever stop?

What in the world?
Darkfire could clearly see that the younger warrior was in a pain...of some sort. Why else would he have been squirming around uncomfortably, with a very miserable look on his face? The orange tom had been watching from a distance, and couldn't stop the smirk from forming at the corners of his mouth even as he tried to remain serious. He padded over to the empty clearing that Longpelt was in, taking a quick detour to the fresh-kill pile to lay down his catch of a mice and two birds.
"Longpelt, are you...okay?" He tried to maintain an expression of amused concern as he looked down at the golden-brown, long pelted warrior.

I looked stopped pacing, surprised. Darkfire was there, in front of me. I could tell he was trying not to grin, and that made me furious. I narrowed my one good eye, and tried not to growl as I answered him. "Ah, hello Darkfire. " My permanent scowl deepened. "I'm fine...I just...Uh...I..." Desperately I searched for a distraction...A fake answer to give him...Anything. I couldn't look him in the face. Sure, it happened to everyone, probably even him. But still, I wasn't willing to admit it. My pride just wouldn't allow it. He would laugh, I was sure of that. After all, he was always stuck up...Pig...I shook my head. Okay, he wasn't all that bad, but I still didn't him...But then again, I didn't like anybody. I sighed. I had so enjoyed my time alone...When I wasn't itching so badly...I winced. I had almost forgotten about the itch before now. I kept raking my brain and looking around me for ideas. But I never found anything. "Oh fine, if you insist on knowing...I have an itch, a horrible itch, right in that spot on your back that you can never reach no matter what." I finally said. Well, apparently I my pride does allow it...

At this reply, Darkfire just had all the more reason to smirk.
"Why don't you scratch it, then?" he retorted, rolling his blood-red eyes in a move of sarcasm. He wasn't normally this mean...just having some fun. A lot of fun. Dawnclan was always so boring, it was up to cats like him to stir things up.
"Oh, I forgot. Let me scratch it for you." Not a moment was given for Longpelt to heave a sigh of relief that he brushed his tail against the other tom's back, treading lightly and tickling it even more. He let out a cackle and bounded off, his tail held high to dare the other tom to follow.
ooc;; lol stupid hamster forgot to log in as Darkfire to post. xD
