Nah, it's okay, I don't like rules either, but you have to follow them anyways. Nobody likes a strict forum so I'll keep it nice and simple: if you use common sense, you should be fine around these parts.
GENERAL RULES:
PROFILE RULES:
ROLEPLAY RULES:
OOC RULES:
-----
Otherwise, if you have anything you want to add on, or if you disagree with any of the above rules, you can talk about it here.
GENERAL RULES:
-Be nice to each other...no flaming, bashing or being rude.
-Don't even think of spamming! I guess the Insanity board will be a little more lax but still...
-What I consider a double post around here is if you post a message straight after your last one less than 24 hours it was posted on the same thread.
-It's alright to post one more time if it's been more than 24 hours since your last post on that thread. No triple posting, though, no matter how long you wait.
-Don't use chatspeak...please. Try your best in literate english.
-Nothing inappropiate, please. You know what I'm talking about.
-One account per cat. You can also have a main account for handling PMs and out of character things.
PROFILE RULES:
-Please follow the profile form when making a cat, or at least include the basics (name, clan, rank, gender, appearance, personality)
-Be as realistic as possible; no cats that have come from another galaxy, no cats that have 3 heads, etc. (I'll allow red eyes just because they're awesome. xD)
-You need a roleplay example for higher ranked cats (medicine cats[not apprentices], deputies, leaders). At least 5 sentences.
-No perfect cats! You can have an OCD cat, sure, but it can't be perfectly perfect.
ROLEPLAY RULES:
-Okay, I admit, I don't particularly enjoy those rules that say "75 word minimum" or "200 words or more". A good roleplayer knows when to make a long post, and when to say just a few lines.
-If a cat is mean to you, don't assume that the roleplayer hates you.
-Try not to post completely out of character posts in an in character topic. Include at least some in character-ness.
-BE ACTIVE! Especially so if you are a leader or medicine cat.
-I'll say it again: BE ACTIVE!
OOC RULES:
-If you want to go crazy, do it in the games/insanity section Nowhere else, please.
-In the games/insanity section your posts are not counted. Don't go running to me saying "ASDFGHJKLKJS; I POSTED 300 TIMES IN THE GAMES AND I ONLY HAVE 5 POSTS WHAT HAPPENED"
