There was nothing to see in the Twoleg's fresh-kill storehouse. What was the point in having a huge den just for fresh kill if there was no good food in it?
She noticed a small flap in the door and suspiciously sniffed at it. "It looks like a door...only for animals. It smells like kittypet. And dog." She cautiously went through it and was surprised as she found herself outside again.
This place was definitely not as run down as the Twoleg nest was. All sorts of plants flourished. There were huge, overgrown bushes who had not been shorn in years. A large fern covered part of the Twoleg nest's walls. She could even smell some familiar scents from the medicine cat den; there had to be a supply of catmint somewhere.
"Ey, Longpelt! Get over here, I found something!" Dewleaf yowled. A bird was sent flying from a bush, leaves scattering everywhere as it left its home...maybe she had yelled a bit louder than had been neccessary.

As Longpelt waited for more prey to appear, he heard Dewleaf yell. "Ey, Longpelt! Get over here, I found something!" He growled, but got up to follow her voice. "What is it now? You screamed so loud it scared all the prey away!" Suddenly he stopped. Where was she? He cautiously looked around him. There was a bunch of spoiled food, but nothing else. "What, is she hiding and going to jump on me again?" He thought to himself. Then he saw it. A little door, in a door. "What the...?" He went carefully toward it, sniffing. He could smell Dewleaf on the other side. "What is she doing?!" He thought to himself, pushing the door open and going through. "What is it Dewleaf?" He asked again. "You were so loud-" He stopped in mid-sentence as he saw his surroundings.

Dewleaf didn't even wait for Longpelt to finish his sentence. "Brilliant, isn't it?" she said, proudly observing the Twoleg's fenced-in territory. "I bet there are lots of prey. No Twoleg has touched this for years. It's all ours." A bird scampered out from a bush of roses. "It's like a breeding ground for prey!" She pinned the bird down by the wing and silenced it with a bite. "I'm going to go tell the Clan about this." She ran through the nest, quickly uprooting the three mice from below the doorstep.
