Shadestar trotted forwards. His eyes watchful and his tail flinching from side to side. A chuckle rose in his throat as he grinned darkly. His eyes flashed towards a brush that shivered as something moved inside it. He laughed dangerously and leapted. Landing just infont of the brush. "Hello.... Mousey." He snarled as he reached out a single paw and draged the mouse out.

Darkfire turned around at the pine tree. Yes, I think I buried it somewhere around here... He spotted his leader, and next to Shadestar, a pile of freshly overturned dirt. He meowed a short hello to Shadestar and started digging in the slightly damp soil. "Good hunting we're having today, aren't we?" he asked as he dug up the two mice and bird he had caught earlier. "Leafbare is lingering in our faces but the prey is already out and running."

Blinking at his deputy. Shadestar nodded. His eyes a cold-like stare, yet they was a fun movement in them. "Yes the prey is running well. Hidding when the wind blows." He smiled smugely. But his eyes closed for a moment as a breeze placed his fur flat against his skin. His eys opened after the wind had finished blowing and her grinned. "Lets hunt Darkfire." He said softly. Trotting forwards.

Darkfire laughed. Surely his leader was kidding, and even if he was serious, they would both be evenly matched. "Sure, I'll play." Smirk.

Shadestar looked at his deputy than waved his tail for the tom to stop making noise. Quickly her hissed, "Stay still." Crawling forwards he lifted his weight and than, like a snake leapted out and snatched the vole that was eatting a blade of grass. Snickering he killed the mouse. "Perfect a vole."

The tom laughed and cuffed his leader around the ear. "Oh, stop joking with me," he meowed, rolling his eyes. He picked up his prey and started to make the way toward the camp.

Feeling the cruff he stumpled away and leapted at his deputy. "Oh no you don't." His smile broke his bad day quickly. Hoping to push his deputy he laughed so loud it broke his bad mood even more. His eyes light up as his mind rolled and pulled at things.
(Ooc. Would it be cool if Darkfire and Shadestar were like best friends// almost like brothers XD.. also a failed post.)

Darkfire fell on his face as Shadestar pushed him to the ground. "Ow," he muttered, as the bird's beak prodded him slightly in the cheek. He pulled himself up and batted at his leader's stomach. "Rawr!" he exclaimed, letting out a mock growl and then swiftly sliding out. He pounced onto the tom, surprising him. "At this rate, we're going to scare away all the prey in the forest." Darkfire let the other cat go, grabbed the mice and bird, and dashed off. "Bet you can't catch me!"

Shadestar laughed and when his deputy turned on his belly he leapted back and the tom raced. Grapping his prey he dashed towards the tom. "I'll catch you!" He said racing very quickly towards camp. Than he stopped and laughed. "Hey Darkfire." He yowled slightly. Their was a small puddle and everytime Shadestar looked in it, it made his face ripple and go all

Stopping on a dime, Darkfire turned and hesitated for a second. If this was a trick...
He headed toward Shadestar and saw his leader leaning over a puddle. "What, we're playing with puddles now?" He leaned over the puddle as well and a leaf fell into it. His face rippled slightly. He splashed a paw--how kittish the deputy was still!--and laughed, "Ha, your face is broken!"
((By the way, I just realized, my post with "Sure, I'll play" doesn't make sense at all. I now understand that you were trying to say "Let's hunt prey" and not "hunt Darkfire" LOL))

Shadestar turned and gave Darkfire the funnest look. His face was screwed up into a almost un-noticable fur ball. Than he batted the tom. "Lets hurry, we got to get back and get Ravenpaw and Smokepaw." Shadestar said. His eyes widen slightly.
