Ravenpaw glared at Smokepaw with anger in his eyes. Shadestar made his brother sound sound as if he was the chosen one of StarClan!
Echostar looked down at Smokepaw and Ravenpaw, pround of her kits but trying not to let anyone notice. She stepped up after Shadestar. "All is well in Z-Clan. Prey is coming back, and our cats are growing stronger. I have named my deputy, Nightwhisper," She looked down at the black shecat and smiled "We also have two new apprentices, Dreampaw and Mockingpaw. Mockingpaw has chosen to follow the path of a medicine cat." Echostar purred, and stepped back. She kept her eyes on her kits.

I settled back. Ashpaw! a voice hissed, I turned, my eyes widening in alarm. I had been so wrapped up in watching the leaders I failed to notice the curious she-cat watching by me. Who are you? I could immediately tell she was from Zephyrclan, her build and scent and all. Casting a shifty glance up at the tree-stage, as if to make sure no one was watching.
She giggled, startled, she slumped to the ground. Sorry! she mewled, her eyes glittering as she swept my appearance. I'm Mockingpaw... Zephyclan's medicine cat?
Though I knew she was wondering if I recgonized her I shook my head 'no'. Sorry. I echoed flatly. I did indeed know who she was, no matter. She could deal.
I... Well... she looked dissapointed, I couldn't help what I did next.
Oh wait! I cried softly. I remember now, I wasn't sure you were the same Mockingpaw. I fibbed, her eyes relit with a certainty. Though my fib was as clears as a teardrop. No matter, it made her feel better.
She smiled softly. I just thought I'd congratulate you. I figured you were Ashpaw, am I right? she looked kind of sheepish.
Oh yeah, I am. Thanks. You too. I smiled and politely backed away. |

Nightwhisper smiled as she was announced deputy infront of all the other clans. She rose her head and puffed out her chest proudly.
